Lisa established the UK’s first female focused recruitment agency specialising in the private security industry. The murder of Sarah Everard in March 2021 compelled her to do something about the growth in violence against women and girls in the UK. In September 2021, Lisa became a qualified Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensed door supervisor. She is known for her commitment to advancing diversity and inclusivity within the private security industry. As part of a commitment to serving her community, Lisa has been a serving Magistrate for 12 years; she sits as a Presiding Justice in both the Adult and Youth Courts in Sussex.
In addition to the Security Skills Board, Lisa serves as a Non-Executive Board Director with the following bodies: Safer Business Network Community Interest Company (CIC), Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS), British Transport Police Race Action Plan, Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), Women’s Night Safety Charter, Racial Equality in Live Music Events Licensing, and National Events Safety.
