Government Bodies

Many governmental and public bodies have a vested interest in the future of private security.

This includes organisations with obvious links, such as the Police, Homeland Security or Parliament, but also administrative departments, such as the DWP, Ofqual, or the Skills Funding Agency.

Some of these bodies are in need of security expertise; some are responsible for the development of it – in either case, the enhanced training of security professionals must be a priority.

How can the Security Skills Board help?

It’s the Government’s responsibility to support British workers with opportunities to learn new skills and develop career opportunities. Security has been long-overlooked as an industry with viable potential for personal achievement. By partnering with us, by signing our pledge, you can play a major role in changing this narrative. Together, we can make private security a pathway to success for British people.
